Odense Robotics launches CV database
Global talent pool launches - one year after Job Bank
A global talent pool to help companies win the war for talent – that’s the aim of a CV database launched this week by Odense Robotics. Already the database has more than 80 candidates from Denmark and abroad and is growing daily. The range is broad, from highly experienced professionals to students and recent graduates.

“Around 80% of companies in the cluster struggle to find qualified candidates and many expect the skills gap to increase in the future,” says Lara Weber, Recruitment Marketing Manager at Odense Robotics.

“To fill the gap, we have developed a CV database that offers companies quick and easy access to a broad range of talent with technical backgrounds. Candidates can apply to 100+ companies with just one click.”

The initiative comes one year after the launch of the Odense Robotics Job Bank. Over the past 12 months, close to 500 job openings have been posted on the site, a one-stop shop for people looking for a job in the cluster.

“I’m in no doubt that the job bank can help companies recruit,” says Robot Nordics CEO Michael Hye. “One of our recent hires saw our job on the job bank first – so we know it’s an important platform to attract highly qualified talent. I’m really looking forward to using the CV database.”

Successful upskilling initiative to be repeated
Following its success earlier this year, the initiative to upskill job seekers will be repeated this autumn as part ongoing efforts to meet recruitment demands in the cluster.

The initiative aims to upskill qualified and unqualified job seekers with a view to filling a broad range of vacant positions in the cluster relating to production, where there is a need to expand the workforce. Titech and Gibotech are spearheading the initiative, with Odense Robotics coordinating activities in close collaboration with job centres and SDE College.

Communications goes global at Odense Robotics
To increase the visibility of the cluster in Denmark and globally, Odense Robotics will have an increased focus on English-language communications going forward.

You will have noticed that the newsletter is now in English - this is just one way that Odense Robotics will adapt communications in order to reach a larger audience going forward.
